About The Position
Somnia Anesthesia is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 1099 position at MyMichigan Medical Center Tawas in Tawas City, MI. This is a CRNA-only model practice environment where CRNAs can practice independently under surgeon supervision. The position offers a competitive compensation of $180/hour and a great culture. The facility has 4 Operating Rooms, 1 C-Section OR, and 1 MPR, with approximately 2,500 cases per year. The case types include general, orthopedic, ENT (including pediatrics), ophthalmology, endoscopy, OB/GYN, and plastics, excluding heads and hearts. Call is 1:2, with a facility-run schedule of two weeks on and two weeks off. The typical workday is from 7 am to 3 pm. The hospital is a 50-bed facility located in rural northeast Michigan. There are approximately 200 deliveries per year.
Requirements
- Active MI license
- Board certification required
- ACLS
- PALS
- BLS
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services in a CRNA-only model.
- Practice independently under surgeon supervision.
- Manage approximately 2,500 cases per year.
- Participate in a call schedule of 1:2, with a two weeks on, two weeks off rotation.
- Administer anesthesia for general, orthopedic, ENT (including pediatrics), ophthalmology, endoscopy, OB/GYN, and plastics procedures.
- Provide care for approximately 200 deliveries per year.
