About The Position

NorthStar Anesthesia is hiring full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists for a float-pool role in Northern Virginia. Providers cover required locations including Inova Mount Vernon Hospital, Inova Alexandria Hospital, Inova Franconia-Springfield Ambulatory Surgery Center, and Inova Oakville Ambulatory Surgery Center. Optional locations include Inova Fairfax Hospital and University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center. Optional facilities are not required for participation; providers may request privileges during credentialing and privileging. The participating community hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers are within approximately a 20-mile radius of one another. The role offers varied clinical exposure, including regional anesthesia, regional blocks, and bread-and-butter cases, with a diverse case mix. Physicians and CRNAs work together in a collaborative care-team model. NorthStar describes its environment as offering clinical leadership, autonomy, hands-on regional training, and an engaged leadership team. Compensation is $140 per hour, approximately $291,200 annually based on 40 hours per week. Extra shifts are paid at $165 per hour. A $75,000 sign-on bonus is offered with a three-year commitment and annual forgiveness. The position guarantees a minimum of 32 hours per week, with a typical schedule of four to five eight-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. Scheduling is self-directed; no nights, weekends, call shifts, or holidays are required. The position includes seven weeks of PTO and a benefits package.

Requirements

CRNA qualification; the posting welcomes both new graduates and experienced CRNAs.
