About The Position

The SWAT Program will offer prospective CRNA candidates flexibility and the option to work at various NAPA sites across the New Jersey region, along with the security and benefits of full time W-2 employment. North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA) is seeking CRNAs to join the NAPA SWAT Program. This distinct travel opportunity allows clinicians to practice collaboratively in a multispecialty team of physicians and CRNAs. Together, these clinicians promote positive patient experiences and deliver the highest quality of healthcare to the communities we serve across the NJ region.

Requirements

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed
