While working in the Outpatient Anesthesia Department, Premier Surgery Center, you will expand your skillset by working on cases including (but not limited to) Orthopedic and ENT.

Requirements

  • Current North Carolina RN license
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia
  • National Board certification as a CRNA
  • Current North Carolina CRNA licensure
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in team-focused patient care, providing anesthesia using safe and quality techniques during Inpatient Procedures.
  • Potential for and encouraged to precept Student Nurse Anesthetists – opportunity to mentor and assess these medical students.
  • Uses medical decision-making skills to determine appropriate patient care plan to ensure peri-operative and anesthesia care, being sensitive to co-morbidities and age & developmental guidelines.
  • Collaborates with medical team when needed for effective team-based care.
  • Uphold patient safety, drive quality improvement, and promote infection prevention within job responsibilities and initiatives.
  • Document and maintain patient records in compliance with hospital standards, ensuring confidentiality.
  • Maintain scheduling flexibility, readiness, and punctuality to deliver timely patient care.
  • Exhibit professionalism through teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Contribute to cost containment efforts by conserving resources.
