Requirements

Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Texas. (Currently, or willing to obtain)
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a CRNA.
Proficiency in spinals, ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks, general and ortho cases.
Strong clinical knowledge and ability to perform anesthesia management for diverse patient populations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations and deliver optimal patient care.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.

Nice To Haves

Training available for candidates needing support in spinals and ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks.

Responsibilities

Perform anesthesia management for diverse patient populations.
Provide anesthesia for mainly Urology, Ortho, Neuro, GYN, ENT, GI and General cases, with some pediatric ENT, ortho and dental.
Administer spinals and ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks.
Work independently in a CRNA-only model.
Participate in home call with extremely light call-back volume.
Collaborate with a team of 3 CRNAs on-site daily.
