About The Position
Seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a facility in the Mississippi Delta. This role primarily involves anesthesia for elective procedures, with a focus on Bread and Butter (B&B) case types. The facility does not have an ICU, and the majority of cases are routine. The position offers autonomy and a supportive environment with quick credentialing for emergency needs.
Requirements
- MS license
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- PALS certification
Nice To Haves
- Experience with a variety of B&B case types.
- Ability to work autonomously.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia for elective procedures including ENT, EGD's, pediatric dentals, and minor procedures.
- Administer anesthesia for occasional appendectomies or GI bleeds.
- Manage anesthesia for a variety of cases such as colonoscopies, dental extractions, jaw fractures, sinus surgeries, hernias, and mass removals.
- Work autonomously in a setting with an average of 10 cases per day.
- Ensure patient safety and provide high-quality care during procedures.
