About The Position

Nuvia Dental Implant Center is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join their team in Jacksonville, FL. This role involves providing life-changing dental implant treatments and full mouth restorations to patients. The center prioritizes patient satisfaction and well-being, taking pride in the positive impact of their procedures. The CRNA will work four days a week, reporting at 6:30 am with the first surgery starting at 7 am. This is a 1099 contractor position with an hourly rate starting at $235, negotiable based on market, plus a daily guarantee. Nuvia values CRNAs who are efficient, self-motivated, and prioritize patient safety. While experience with general anesthesia, nasal intubations, and TIVA is preferred, training will be provided for the right candidate. CRNAs are respected leaders within the center, contributing to a positive and engaging culture. The position offers a great work-life balance with no nights, weekends, call, or holidays, and 12 days off per year. The CRNA will practice independently with 100% autonomy in a solo practice setting, administering anesthesia for full mouth dental implants and contributing to patients regaining confidence with a new smile.

Requirements

Two years of experience practicing as a CRNA.
One year experience practicing independently as a solo provider
Recent experience providing general anesthesia
Proficient in nasal intubations
Experience delivering anesthesia in an outpatient facility and/or surgery center
Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
Valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Current state licensure as an APRN
Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
Ability to obtain and maintain Professional malpractice insurance.

Responsibilities

Administer general anesthesia with a nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office based setting
Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop and implement anesthesia plans
Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
Perform pre-operative assessments and provide education to patients regarding options and potential risks
Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses and any adverse events
Stay up to date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications and equipment
