About The Position

We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 1099 Locums position. This role involves providing anesthesia services in an Ambulatory Surgery Center setting, covering 2-3 days per week, primarily Tuesdays and Thursdays, with occasional Wednesdays. The case types include General Surgery, Bariatric, Plastics & Cosmetics, and some GYN. The CRNA will work independently without direct supervision. The role is fast-paced, with some days involving 10-12 hours and up to 10 cases, while other days may involve 2-3 longer cases (3-4 hours each) over 10-12 hours, and some shorter 6-hour days. Credentialing can be completed within 48-72 hours with the necessary information and documents.

Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) qualification.
• 1099 Locums independent contractor status.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) model.
• Must carry own malpractice insurance.
• No recent malpractice issues.
• Excellent clinical outcomes.
• Excellent receptive, professional, and interpersonal working skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Plastic/Cosmetic cases.
• Experience in Weight Loss cases.
• Experience in General Surgery cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services in an Ambulatory Surgery Center.
• Cover 2-3 days per week (Tue, Thu, and some Wednesdays).
• Manage cases including General Surgery, Bariatric, Plastics & Cosmetics, and GYN.
• Work independently without directives.
• Adapt to varying daily schedules, including fast-paced days with multiple cases and days with longer, fewer cases.
