About The Position

Essential Anesthesia Management is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join their service-focused anesthesia team at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital in San Marcos, TX. The role involves independent practice within a collaborative team of 9 CRNAs and 2 MDs at a community hospital. The CRNA will cover a wide scope of cases including General Surgery, Orthopedic, Endo/GI, and OB/GYN. The position offers significant time off and a competitive salary.

Requirements

• Board Certified CRNA
• Proficiency in regional anesthesia is preferred, but training is available.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for General Surgery, Orthopedic, Endo/GI, and OB/GYN cases.
• Cover 5 sites of service daily.
• Participate in a call schedule of 1:9, with post-call days off.
• Cover two 24-hour OB shifts per month.
• Collaborate with a team of CRNAs and MDs, maintaining autonomy and mutual support.
