About The Position

NorthStar Anesthesia is expanding its team to Hinsdale and La Grange, Illinois, and is seeking Full-Time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs). This is a call-taking position with a starting salary of $291,000 for new graduates, with compensation increasing based on experience. The role offers 7 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO). Additional bonuses are available for eligible candidates who sign on as a group with a colleague. The scope of practice includes a wide range of cases such as general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, pediatric ENT, obstetrics, cath lab procedures, interventional radiology (including stroke care), neurosurgery, and cardiovascular cases (documentation only), as well as vascular and pain management procedures. The position is based at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Hinsdale and La Grange facilities.

Requirements

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification.
Willingness to take call.

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical and medical procedures.
Participate in call-taking duties.
Administer anesthesia for general surgery, ortho, gyne, urology, peds ENT, OB, cath lab, IR (stroke), neuro, general, CV (doc only), vascular, and pain management cases.
Collaborate with surgical and medical teams.
