About The Position

Our patients are our number one priority! We're committed to giving children back their childhood! This position is located at the Frisco - Ambulatory Surgical Center and is PRN, as needed, working Monday - Friday from 6:30 am - 5:00 pm. The role involves administering general, regional, and monitored anesthesia and analgesia for scheduled, non-emergent pediatric orthopedic procedures and imaging under the direction and supervision of an attending anesthesiologist. Responsibilities include performing preoperative patient evaluations, developing anesthesia care plans, safely transporting patients, and providing appropriate postoperative care. The position requires collaboration with the anesthesia and surgical team, maintaining respectful interactions, and providing safe, compassionate, and age-appropriate anesthesia care consistent with organizational standards and applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Current CRNA or CAA license.
• Previous experience working as a CRNA or CAA.
• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.
• CRNA Candidates: Current NBCRNA certification.
• CAA Candidates: Current NCCAA certification.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia and analgesia for scheduled, non-emergent pediatric orthopedic procedures and imaging under the direction and supervision of an attending anesthesiologist.
• Perform preoperative patient evaluations and, in collaboration with the attending anesthesiologist, develop and implement a comprehensive anesthesia care plan.
• Safely transport patients to and from anesthetizing locations and provide appropriate postoperative care.
• Collaborate effectively as part of the anesthesia and surgical team while maintaining respectful, professional interactions with patients, families, and staff.
• Provide safe, compassionate, and age-appropriate anesthesia care consistent with organizational standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
