The CRNA II is a board-certified licensed clinician who provides anesthesia services to all patients in the organization. General responsibilities include reviewing patients' medical history, administering and managing anesthesia, and monitoring the patient during the procedure or perioperative period. The incumbent is responsible for supplying documentation of continued registration as a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist). Requirements

  • Master's Degree Nurse Anesthesia Practitioner required
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist [CRNA (NBCRNA)] - National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) required
  • Massachusetts Registered Nurse License required
  • Basis Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required

  • CRNA 2-3 years preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provides anesthesia services to all patients in the organization.
  • Reviews patients' medical history.
  • Administers and manages anesthesia.
  • Monitors the patient during the procedure or perioperative period.
  • Supplies documentation of continued registration as a CRNA.
  • Partners with anesthesia leadership and Talent Acquisition to assess staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment plans.
  • Develops and executes strategic marketing campaigns (e.g., conferences, social media, open-house events).
  • Proactively sources qualified CRNAs through networking, referrals, and outreach.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with CRNAs, SRNAs, and anesthesia programs to support ongoing pipeline development.
  • Attends career fairs, professional meetings, and academic events to promote the organization.
  • Coordinates interviews with candidates and serves as a primary point of contact through the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
