CRNA/CAA - Acute Care
About The Position
Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System is seeking to hire FULL TIME Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAA) to join their team. The CRNAs and CAAs will work across multiple facilities including Spartanburg Medical Center – Church Street (SMC Level 1 Trauma), Spartanburg Medical Center - Mary Black campus (MB), Cherokee Medical Center (CMC), and Pelham Medical Center (PMC). This role offers a variety of schedule options, no call, nights, or weekends, and dedicated call team coverage. The department is supported by approximately 34 Anesthesiologists and 100 CAAs/CRNAs, covering a diverse case mix across four facilities with a Level 1 Trauma Center. The system utilizes EPIC EMR and is a PSLF Approved Institution.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited CRNA program or anesthesiologist assistant educational program.
- Must be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA).
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Experience with diverse case mix including healthy pediatrics and limited NICU cases.
- Experience teaching and/or mentoring.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care at Spartanburg Medical Center – Church Street (SMC Level 1 Trauma), Spartanburg Medical Center - Mary Black campus (MB), Cherokee Medical Center (CMC), and Pelham Medical Center (PMC).
- Work within the Anesthesia care team, which includes Anesthesiologists, CAAs/CRNAs, and anesthesia tech support.
- Cover various areas including OR, Endo, Cath Lab, L&D, MRI & IR.
- Manage a diverse case mix, including some healthy pediatrics and limited NICU cases. No transplant or burns.
- Teach and/or mentor SRNAs/SAAs as a teaching site for anesthesia programs.
