About The Position

The CRNA will provide health assessment and improve or manage the general medical care of patients. CRNA's will be covering the hospital and surgery center with a primary case mix consisting of urology, GI endoscopy, ortho, ophthalmology, general surgery and ob/gyn.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
Master's in Nurse Anesthesia required.
Current valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, valid compact multistate license, or a temporary permit while awaiting licensure required.
APRN - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (APRN.CRNA.NE) or ARNP - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (ARNP.CRNA.IA) required.
Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
Current American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
Strong interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate and interact with patients, family members and hospital personnel/coworkers.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to utilize critical thinking skills to manage problems, determine best course of action and effect change.
Knowledge of healthcare delivery, electronic patient records and quality/safety protocols.

Nice To Haves

Experience in area of practice preferred.
Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred at time of hire, required within 3 months of hire.

Be available for weekends, holidays, and on-call duties as needed.
