About The Position

We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum position. The role involves providing anesthesia services across a variety of surgical specialties. The schedule offers flexibility with options for 10-hour or 12-hour shifts, four days a week, with mandatory Monday and/or Friday availability. A commitment to work one weekend per month is required. The caseload is diverse, focusing primarily on General Surgery, Orthopedics, GI, and Robotics, but also includes Obstetrics (C-Sections), Radiology, Endoscopy, Ophthalmology, Plastic Surgery, ENT, and Neurosurgery. Trauma cases are excluded. CRNAs will perform their own nerve blocks as needed. Cardiac case experience is beneficial but not required. Standard credentialing takes approximately 120 days, with expedited options available for temporary credentials.

Requirements

• Board Certification
• NBCRNA
• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS
• Valid Florida license (for expedited credentialing)
• Clean file (for expedited credentialing)

Nice To Haves

• Epidural skills
• Cardiac case experience

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gastroenterology, Robotics, Obstetrics (including C-Sections), Radiology, Endoscopy, Ophthalmology, Plastic Surgery, ENT, and Neurosurgery.
• Perform nerve blocks as needed.
• Administer anesthesia for C-Sections.
• Work one weekend per month.
• Adhere to a 40-hour work week, with options for 10-hour or 12-hour shifts.
• Be available to work on Monday and/or Friday.
