About The Position

This full-time, overnight CRMA position provides the highest quality personal care and assistance while promoting overall resident well-being. Behaviors are expected to exemplify Company values, assuring that Exceptional Customer Service is consistently provided to all internal and external customers. Responsibilities include assisting with all Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) as defined on each individuals Care Plan; completing all other assignments, and duties as directed by the Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager; encouraging participation in the life enrichment program, and being highly observant of resident conditions and behaviors, and potentially unsafe resident situations, or environmental safety concerns, reporting them immediately to the Charge Nurse. This full-time position will be from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am every Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Mandatory overtime (working beyond scheduled shift) may be required at times to meet unexpected demands.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of similar experience providing direct care in a similar environment is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Demonstrated exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Experience exercising good judgment in a variety of challenging circumstances is also required.
  • Current 40-hour Certification as a Certified Residential Medication Aide
  • Current CPR certification or willingness to become certified within six months of hire

Nice To Haves

  • CNA or PSS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with all Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) as defined on each individuals Care Plan
  • Completing all other assignments, and duties as directed by the Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager
  • Encouraging participation in the life enrichment program
  • Being highly observant of resident conditions and behaviors, and potentially unsafe resident situations, or environmental safety concerns, reporting them immediately to the Charge Nurse
  • Administering medications to residents according to State and Federal regulations, physician orders and the resident’s condition
  • Utilizing appropriate resources to ensure understanding of administered medications
  • Monitoring resident’s response to prescribed medications, reporting adverse effects to the Charge Nurse/Nurse Manager
  • Documenting medication administration per policy
  • Adhering to all Company rules, safety protocols, policies & procedures, and expectations
  • Providing a positive and productive environment by promoting a positive image and collaborative working style with other team members
  • Communicating effectively at shift changes ensuring all relevant information is provided to the oncoming shift regarding resident status
  • Completing all shift assignments and documenting accordingly
