Requirements

Full-time, 36-hour-per-week position working three 12-hour overnight shifts every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Personal Support Specialist (PSS) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
Current CRMA certification.
One or more years experience in geriatrics.
Familiarity with memory loss care.
BLS within 120 days of hire date.
Basic computer skills preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and in writing.
Ability for high performance under stressful situations.
Must be able to prioritize, multi-task and follow through.
Able to stand/work for most of an 8-12 hour shift.
Must be able to bend/lift 25 - 55 lbs. (assisting residents in and out of bed, etc.)

Responsibilities

Responsible for the safe administration of medications.
Communication with health care providers.
Ensuring the accuracy of physician orders while providing hands-on care and services to meet residents' identified needs.
Coordinating with other staff.
Implementing each resident’s interdisciplinary service plan.
Reporting changes in resident condition.
Documenting residents’ physical ability to perform self-care.
Observes, documents, and reports all aspects of residents’ activities of daily living, health status, and compliance with physician orders to ensure residents receive the appropriate level of care and support.
Helps maintain the highest levels of residents’ physical, psychological, social, and spiritual well-being in accordance with resident service plans and current standards of care.
