OceanView at Falmouth is a 21st Century Assisted Living Community that is locally owned and dedicated to providing the highest quality care to our residents. We are currently seeking kind, compassionate CRMA/PSS Caregivers to join our Assisted Living, Legacy Memory Care, and Falmouth House teams for Full-Time and Part-Time roles. We have a combination of shifts available, including both weekday and weekend options: 7:00am–6:00pm 7:00am–3:30pm 3:00pm–9:00pm 6:00pm–7:30am The CRMA/PSS Caregiver provides high-quality personal care and medication administration while promoting resident safety, dignity, and overall well-being. This dual role supports exceptional customer service for residents, families, and team members and works collaboratively with nursing leadership to ensure compliance with care plans and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of similar experience providing direct care in an assisted living, memory care, or comparable setting required.
  • Experience with medication administration and CRMA responsibilities required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in challenging situations.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Current 40-hour Certification as a Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) required.
  • Current CPR certification or willingness to become certified within six months of hire.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 7 hours per day).
  • Ability to walk, bend, lift, and assist residents as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Mandatory overtime may be required to meet unexpected needs.
  • Holiday availability may be requested based on staffing needs.

Nice To Haves

  • CNA or PSS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications according to State and Federal regulations, physician orders, and resident conditions.
  • Monitor residents’ responses to medications and report adverse effects to the Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager.
  • Document medication administration per company policy.
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as outlined in individual care plans.
  • Provide hands-on caregiving support including bathing, dressing, mobility, and toileting assistance.
  • Encourage participation in life enrichment programs.
  • Observe and promptly report changes in resident conditions or safety concerns.
  • Complete all shift assignments and required documentation.
  • Communicate effectively during shift changes to ensure continuity of care.
  • Adhere to all company rules, safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative team environment.
