About The Position

We are currently seeking kind and compassionate Certified Residential Medication Aides (CRMA) to join our Assisted Living and Legacy Memory Care team on a per-diem basis. The CRMA provides high-quality personal care and medication administration while promoting resident safety, dignity, and overall well-being. This role supports exceptional customer service for residents, families, and team members and works collaboratively with nursing leadership to ensure compliance with care plans and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of similar experience providing direct care in a comparable setting required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in challenging situations.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Current 40-hour Certification as a Certified Residential Medication Aide required.
  • Current CPR certification or willingness to become certified within six months of hire.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 7 hours per day).
  • Ability to walk, bend, lift, and assist residents as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and carry up to 20 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • CNA or PSS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications according to State and Federal regulations, physician orders, and resident condition.
  • Monitor residents’ responses to medications and report adverse effects to the Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager.
  • Document medication administration per company policy.
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as outlined in individual care plans.
  • Encourage participation in life enrichment programs.
  • Observe and promptly report changes in resident condition or safety concerns.
  • Complete all shift assignments and required documentation.
  • Communicate effectively during shift changes to ensure continuity of care.
  • Adhere to all company rules, safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative team environment.
