About The Position

The CRM Platforms Lead (Associate Director) drives CRM strategy and execution for USBU Field Sales, Medical and Access capabilities and acts as a primary conduit between field teams and delivery teams, translating strategic needs into clear, buildable requirements and release plans. This role ensures CRM platform execution is aligned to standards, compliant, and measurable—aligning the Field roles’ ability to execute across data, digital and CRM platform functionality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8–12+ years in CRM platform delivery, digital product, or program leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and deliver in regulated environments.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, commercial technologies, and Agile delivery, preferably in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable solutions, clear requirements, and actionable delivery plans.
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders, dependencies, risks, and competing priorities in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and change-management skills to drive alignment and adoption across Field, Medical, Access, and DD&T teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the execution of an overall CRM strategy tailored to business priorities across in line and launch brands, considering both existing capabilities as well as new technology investments.
  • Serves and main DD&T point of contact for FPO, CEE and DD&T delivery pods to reduce friction and improve time-to-market.
  • Guides teams in the use of existing technologies and identifying areas of investment translating needs to solutions that align to the business strategy.
  • Owns cross-functional delivery coordination and intake-to-release discipline for key CRM platform initiatives.
  • Drives consistency and reuse through standard patterns, templates, and enablement.
  • Create a roadmap of CRM priorities aligned with USBU and DD&T strategy, allowing for creation of delivery roadmaps and investment opportunities. Focus will be on aligning local market and BU needs with Takeda’s Cx of the Future transformation program.
  • Convert Field objectives into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans; maintain a high-quality intake-to-delivery pipeline.
  • Work across onshore and offshore delivery teams to build, test and deploy CRM solutions in an agile way, following good system development practices.
  • Ensure platform changes support Field timelines (launches, targeting refreshes, critical updates) with readiness, validation, and stakeholder communications.
  • Maintain enablement artifacts (technical design documentation, testing documentation) to improve efficiency, delivery quality and enable opportunities for reuse.
  • Enforce platform standards (templates, measurement prerequisites, security/compliance basics) to reduce fragmentation and rework.
  • Ensure planned changes are shared with and approved by CRM Architecture Council.
