About The Position

Under the general direction of the Assistant Director of Data Analytics and CRM, the CRM Analyst II plays a pivotal role as they are one of several team members responsible for the testing, daily operation, and maintenance of Slate (CRM). Focused primarily on the support of the Graduate and Professional School, this position serves as part of a team that supports admissions, recruitment, and current student efforts within the Undergraduate and Graduate CRM Systems. This position provides development and support for event management, application cycle, and CRM database portal maintenance, executing multi-level communications plan, and all additional database duties assigned within Slate for the Graduate and Professional School. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Four years of administrative experience to include one or more years of cloud base application experience.
  • Must demonstrate a commitment to consultation and cooperation with students, faculty, staff and administrators.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to visualize, organize, and provide feedback.
  • Working knowledge of data management concepts including relational databases, data security, data governance, and system maintenance.
  • Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Nice To Haves

  • A State of Texas class “C” vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
  • Four or more years of experience in a position requiring managing multiple constituents and strong customer service, strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience working in graduate higher education or related field with organizational processes preferred.
  • Previous experience with CRM, document imaging software, admissions and/or university software including Technolutions Slate and Ellucian Banner.
  • Ability to function in a deadline- driven environment with multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Prior knowledge of Slate CRM or demonstrate a high aptitude to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in building out, supporting and executing a multi-level communication plan for multiple constituents.
  • Build out queries to be utilized by staff within the Graduate and Professional School for communication purposes.
  • Trouble-shoot communication template errors and errors with communication queries.
  • Assist in building communication focused reports to provide insight into recruitment and current student retention efforts.
  • Facilitate the approval process of scheduling communications to be sent in direct support of the Graduate and Professional School.
  • Support constituents assigned to Slate CRM Database Administrators, including the network of Slate users across Texas A&M University at College Station.
  • Complete all work requests assigned via Slate Help Desk, which may include forms, events, populations, dataset upload, scheduler events, folder creation, queries, reports, landing pages, portals or template request.
  • Assist CRM Database Administrators with constituent project timelines.
  • Provides development and support for all additional database duties assigned within Slate for the Graduate and Professional School.
  • Provides development and support CRM database portal maintenance.
  • Assist in the management of the Slate CRM Database Configuration, including understanding the needs of our stakeholder base, and developing tools utilized for configuration of Slate implementation.
  • Understand and manage utilities of the Slate Administrator Dashboard, including all administrative functions of the Slate database.
  • Create and modify forms, portals, populations, fields, prompts, event templates, and set up rule automations, as needed.
  • Assist in building out communication and event templates for distribution to constituents.
  • Understand the workflows and database management, including entity management and creation.
  • Provides development and support for annual cycle prep.
  • Assist in developing, updating, and delivering Slate training for users, including creation of training modules for Readers and Reviewer.
  • Assist with creation of training modules for Administrators of Slate.
  • Assist with creation and delivery of online training modules - synchronous and asynchronous.
  • Assist in creation and delivery of in-person training workshops to be hosted across the university to meet the unique needs of each area and to support staff development in the area of CRM.
  • Assist in the gathering of business processes requirements and converting them to technical specifications.
  • Assists in developing new database functionality.
  • Serves on the Slate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database Enrollment Management team.
  • This may require traveling to different locations on campus.
  • Serves on office search and planning committees.
  • Attends and presents at state, regional, and/or local conferences.
  • Represents the Office of Admissions on campus, within the community, and/or at the state level when needed.
