About The Position

The support staff will work after-school during the 2026-2027 school year from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursdays in the Pearl K. Wise Library located at CRLS. The s/he will support the library's programs and services.

Requirements

• The support staff, preferably, will have at least two years post-graduate education; Bachelor's degree highly desirable.
• S/he will have previous experience in an educational or recreational setting overseeing high school age students.
• S/he will have strong organizational and interpersonal skills critical to succeed in a high-use environment serving a diverse population.
• S/he will have knowledge of personal computers and applications.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in a library is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a welcoming and congenial atmosphere conducive to study.
• Performing routine clerical tasks.
• Using automated circulation system to manage circulation.
• Supervising student workers.
• Assisting students and staff in locating materials.
• Assisting students and staff in operating computers and equipment.
• Troubleshooting minor technology and equipment issues.
