About The Position

This role serves as a Club Advisor for the Drone club at CRLS. The advisor is responsible for managing club activities, finances, and member engagement. This includes regular meetings, advertising events, tracking attendance, managing funds, participating in Club Day, supervising field trips and fundraising, attending advisor meetings, and completing necessary forms. Attendance logs are crucial and must be submitted to the CRLS Assistant Principal before each pay cycle, with specific deadlines in early December for the first semester and late May for the second semester. Advisors receive half of the stipend after the first semester and the remaining half after the second semester.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the subject area (drones)
• Experience with high school students

Responsibilities

• Meeting regularly with club members
• Advertising club meeting times, dates, and locations
• Recording and keeping a log of member attendance for EVERY club meeting
• Managing all Club funds
• Participating in the annual Club Day activities
• Supervising club activities including all approved field trips and fundraising activities
• Attending meetings of the Club Advisors
• Completing all required Club forms
• Submitting club attendance reports to the CRLS Assistant Principal prior to each pay cycle
