About The Position

JLL is seeking a Critical Environment Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role involves maintaining and optimizing crucial HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems in facilities where failure is not an option. The technician will ensure seamless operations, energy efficiency, and minimal downtime, while showcasing primary technical skills and expanding knowledge across multiple disciplines. Requirements

  • 4+ years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering with a strong background in the technical aspects of packaged HVAC, plumbing, electrical, production equipment repair, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of overall system design and applications.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel
  • Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal skills
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in Data Centers/ Critical environments
  • Two years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration and HVAC, plumbing, or other craft skills.
  • Universal EPA Certification (or within 90 days of employment)

Responsibilities

  • Execute critical environment protocols and MOP processes
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility systems
  • Operate and maintain HVAC, CRAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Master building automation, fire/life safety, and related equipment
  • Conduct facility inspections and report on conditions daily
  • Complete hazard assessments and comply with safety procedures
  • Identify and address potential safety hazards
  • Maintain compliance with local ordinances, codes, and laws
  • Complete all required safety training
  • Utilize CMMS systems for work documentation
  • Escalate issues to customers and management as needed
  • Attend work and safety meetings
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned
