About The Position

The Critical Facilities HVAC Technician operates, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs HVAC and mechanical systems that support continuous mission-critical data center operations. The role provides after-hours technical coverage, responds rapidly to alarms, supports system reliability, and ensures seamless shift handoffs. The technician works independently while coordinating with site operations, Controls, Chiller, Electrical, and on-call support teams. The position involves preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC and related mechanical equipment; monitoring system performance and environmental conditions; responding to alarms and service requests; and carrying out approved work under established procedures and change-control requirements. The technician also supports planned second-shift maintenance, documents work in the CMMS, coordinates with first-shift teams, and oversees vendors performing after-hours work. This work takes place in a mission-critical data center environment that requires attention to detail, procedural discipline, safety awareness, and reliable shift documentation. Second-shift coverage is required, and occasional extended hours or emergency response may be necessary. ABM Mission Critical Solutions supports advanced data center facilities and describes opportunities for technical growth in high-reliability environments.
