Requirements
- Accurate spelling required.
- Medical terminology and abbreviations.
- Keyboarding and computer skills.
- Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Must demonstrate ability to effectively communicate with all age groups.
- Must be able to keep calm under stress.
- BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months.
- Lethal dysrhythmia course within 6 months.
- High school level of knowledge necessary to read physicians' orders and transcribe them correctly.
Nice To Haves
- Secretarial/clerical courses preferred.
- Unit Clerk experience preferred.
