About The Position

As a SCTU Nurse, you will work collaboratively with an EMT crew to treat and provide care for critically ill patients on an inter-facility transport ambulance. TriCare Medical Transportation is South Jersey’s premier medical transportation company. We are a large-scale 24/7 operation with over 300 employees and 130 vehicles, providing service from our headquarters in Pleasantville, NJ and two satellite locations in Vineland and Cherry Hill.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of New Jersey
At least 1 year of full time RN nursing experience in the Emergency Department (ED), Critical Care Unit (CCU), or Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Current ACLS, PALS, and CPR certifications required
Obtain NJ EMT Certification within 6 months of hire
Organization and the ability to properly utilize a confined space
Must be comfortable with heavy lifting as needed
Excellent inter-personal skills and attention to patient comfort
Detail-oriented regarding protocol adherence and documentation compliance
Ability to think quickly and react appropriately in critical situations without the presence of a physician
Capacity to maintain composure while working in a fast-paced, challenging environment

Nice To Haves

Prior SCTU (Specialty Care Transportation Unit) experience preferred but not required
