About The Position
The Critical Care Technician assists with or independently provides direct patient care to individuals assigned by the Manager or Registered Nurse. Care must be delivered with compassion, caring, and respect.
Requirements
- Licensed EMT or Paramedic; or CNA or PCA with one year of patient care experience in a clinical setting (acute care preferred); or qualifying nursing student; or eligible current employee who has completed an approved nursing program and is awaiting NCLEX authorization to test (up to 90 days post-graduation); or eligible current employee who has completed an approved nursing program and has not passed the NCLEX (up to six months after initial authorization to test).
- Nursing students must be currently enrolled in an approved program preparing professional nurses or licensed practical nurses and must have successfully completed the didactic and clinical portions of nursing fundamental coursework.
- Employees in this position will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.
Nice To Haves
- Acute care patient-care experience is preferred for CNA or PCA candidates.
