Capital Health is seeking a Critical Care Technician for the Emergency Room. This full-time, night position involves providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with patient safety, personal care, basic wound care, specimen collection, nutrition support, and maintaining a clean environment. The role also involves assisting with CPR, performing phlebotomy, glucometer testing, EKGs, and vital signs. The technician will also be responsible for stocking supplies, maintaining logs, and ensuring equipment is functional. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalency and prior experience in a relevant healthcare setting. The technician must be proficient in English and hold AHA BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include CNA certification or successful completion of the Capital Health UAP Training program.
