About The Position

This position is for a dedicated Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Medical ICU, which consists of 30 beds and caters to a diverse patient population. The focus will be on providing high-quality care for patients with various critical conditions, including but not limited to: Sepsis, Heart failure, Hypertensive emergency, Respiratory failure, COPD, Chronic kidney disease, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Alcohol use and abuse, Substance abuse, Status epilepticus, and Encephalopathy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a critical care or ICU setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certification are required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Manage ventilators and other high-acuity medical equipment.
• Monitor vital signs and patient responses to interventions.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans.
