About The Position

The Critical Care RN provides specialized critical care nursing expertise throughout the hospital, supporting patient care needs across designated critical care areas. This position serves as a hospital-wide critical care resource, utilizing advanced assessment, vascular access, and clinical decision-making skills to enhance patient outcomes. Responsibilities include providing inpatient dialysis, assisting the IV Team with vascular access needs, and responding to critical care staffing and patient care demands as needed. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with hospital policies, evidence-based practice, and regulatory standards while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Requirements

  • Current Georgia RN license.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Critical care experience preferred.
  • Hemodialysis experience preferred; dialysis training may be provided for qualified candidates.
