About The Position

LifeShare Network is seeking a skilled Paramedic to join their team as an Organ Recovery Coordinator. This role is central to coordinating organ recovery efforts, ensuring each case is handled with expertise and care, and offering hope through organ transplantation. The position involves rapid response and case management, assessing potential donors, managing the organ recovery process, and utilizing specialized emergency care skills to optimize donor conditions. It also includes communicating sensitively with donor families, providing comfort and understanding, and leading educational sessions for peers while participating in advanced clinical procedures to improve outcomes.

Requirements

Paramedics with experience in critical care settings such as ICU, ER, or flight/critical care transportation.
Certified Critical Care Paramedics (CCP-C) a plus!
Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide support during emotionally challenging times.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, adapting quickly to meet the needs of each unique case.
At least 2 years of ICU or ED experience.
