About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Critical Care Medicine Physician in Boise, ID. The role involves providing inpatient clinical coverage in a Level II Trauma facility. The physician will be responsible for ICU rounding, admitting patients, managing the ICU patient list, and performing occasional pulmonary consults. The position requires collaboration with APP support staff and occasional supervision of Family Medicine residents. Coverage is needed for specific blocks in September and October 2026.

Requirements

Board Certified in Critical Care
Active Idaho license or Universal License (IMLC)
Active DEA Certification
ACLS certification
COVID-19 Vaccine
Must be able to cover both September and October blocks
Comfortable with ICU procedures
NPDB report within last month
Hospital Privileges Required

Responsibilities

Provide inpatient ICU rounding and admitting.
Oversee and supervise Family Medicine residents occasionally.
Manage ICU patient list (average 25 patients) and handle admissions (average 5 per night).
Perform occasional pulmonary consults.
Collaborate with APP support staff.
