About The Position

Memorial Hermann Greater Heights is seeking a Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist to join their team. The role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring clinical pharmacy programs to enhance patient care and reduce costs. The pharmacist will provide clinical services to patients and healthcare professionals, collaborating with medical staff on drug utilization and cost containment. There may be opportunities to assist in supervising department employees under the guidance of the Director and/or Pharmacy Manager. The position emphasizes teamwork, strong customer service, and familiarity with pharmacy and hospital computer systems, as well as the healthcare reimbursement environment.

Requirements

• Licensure in State of Texas
• Pharmacy Sterile Product certification through an in-house program or other accredited program if appropriate
• Ability to promote teamwork, build effective relationships, and to lead/facilitate work groups
• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of pharmacy and hospital computer systems and computer-assisted devices
• Familiarity with health care reimbursement environment

Nice To Haves

• Residency training-PGY2 in Critical Care is highly desired.
• Board certification a plus.
• Completion of ASHP accredited pharmacy practice residency or fellowship or demonstration of equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities
