As the Crisis Clinician, you will embody Seneca's core values of respect and curiosity while working with youth and families experiencing significant psychological, emotional, and behavioral problems that interfere with their well-being. You will be part of a team that delivers in-person services at client homes, hospitals, and other community spaces daily. This role involves meeting with clients and families regularly to coordinate and implement treatment goals, exemplifying compassion. Seneca offers weekly individual and group supervision toward licensure hours, free CEUs, free trainings to improve clinical skills, and yearly scholarship opportunities for professional development. The Mobile Response Team (MRT) is a short-term program comprised of clinicians and counselors who support youth in crisis when there are concerns for immediate safety. MRT supports youth and families by completing a comprehensive risk assessment to determine the level of risk, the needs of the youth, and to explore the strengths of the client, family, and community supports. MRT works to facilitate the creation of a safety plan to support youth and their caregivers in minimizing the instances and severity of future crises. MRT supports youth with linkage and advocacy to connect them and their families to long-term services if needed. Seneca has been nominated among the Bay Area’s Top Workplaces for several consecutive years and is committed to providing traditionally marginalized communities with excellent mental health, community-based, and educational services. We are committed to building a diverse staff and our programs deeply engage in conversations and training on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to bring equity and justice to the youth and families we serve.
