About The Position

Assists Crisis Therapist with all concrete and supportive services related to referrals and contacts with patients, families, and collaborators. This includes outreach, crisis calls, supportive counseling, ensuring linkages, networking with referral sources, engagement, and transitional visits to ensure stabilization and monitoring of referrals.

Requirements

• Strong background in outpatient mental health
• Ability to work with challenging patients and families within the community
• Ability to make quick assessments
• Ability to manage emergencies as they arise
• Ability to manage stress and impact of vicarious trauma
• Minimum of two-three years clinical experience
