Crisis Support Worker-On Call
About The Position
We are looking for an on-call Crisis Support Worker to add to our team! This position is an On-Call position with a weekend shift. As a Crisis Support Worker, you will assist with children after hours. These situations may include, transporting a child to their new foster home or helping a child in moderate crisis. Support Workers may be asked to be with a child in a hospital or any of our numerous offices in the area. We do provide a company car, cell phone and computer. This position is great for those looking for a part-time job and who is wanting experience in the child welfare field.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous work experience demonstrating competency in a role serving children and families preferred.
- Compassionate, eager to learn, and wants to help children in times of crisis.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Desire to help children grow, learn, and build healthy coping skills.
- Strong desire to advocate for children!
- Must complete a Predictive Index Assessment.
Responsibilities
