Provide crisis and other outpatient services to children, youth, families and adults for the purpose of improving the quality of life for the person/family served. This position is supervised by the Program Supervisor or other identified member of management. The role promotes a warm and engaging organizational culture in line with NorthCare values, trauma informed care, and health and wellness. Responsibilities include crisis management, coordination of intervention and referrals, and providing integrated services that address behavioral healthcare, physical healthcare, and social needs. The therapist will also provide brief evidence-based counseling, group therapy, and supportive services as needed. Additionally, the role involves performing screenings, intake interviews, treatment plan reviews, and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Maintaining clinical records and professional competency is also a key aspect of this role.
