Frontier Behavioral Health (FBH) is a non-profit organization with over 100 years of experience serving the Spokane community. FBH provides evidence-based treatment to individuals of all ages facing various behavioral health challenges. As a Trauma-Informed Care Organization, FBH is dedicated to fostering recovery and empowering clients to lead fulfilling lives. The Crisis Clinician is part of a multidisciplinary team offering telephonic and outreach crisis intervention and evaluation services. The primary objective is to divert individuals from emergency departments, the criminal justice system, and inpatient psychiatric treatment by utilizing community resources for stabilization. This role serves individuals aged 21 and older who may have co-occurring disorders and/or experience homelessness, as part of the Mobile Crisis Assessment and Triage (MCAT) team. The Crisis Clinician provides rapid response, assessment, crisis intervention, engagement, supportive counseling, information and referral, assistance with Medicaid enrollment, linkage to necessary resources, and connection to community-based mental health and substance use services for ongoing treatment and follow-up.
