Frontier Behavioral Health (FBH) is a non-profit organization with over 100 years of experience serving the Spokane community. They offer evidence-based treatment for a wide range of behavioral health issues to adults, youth, and seniors. As a Trauma-Informed Care Organization, FBH believes in client recovery and empowering them to lead fulfilling lives. The Crisis Clinician is part of a multi-disciplinary team providing telephonic and outreach crisis intervention and evaluation services. The primary goal is to divert individuals from emergency departments, the criminal justice system, and inpatient psychiatric treatment by maximizing community resources for stabilization. This role serves individuals aged 21+ who may have co-occurring disorders and/or be experiencing homelessness, as part of the Mobile Crisis Assessment and Triage (MCAT) team. The clinician provides rapid response, assessment, intervention, engagement, supportive counseling, information and referral, assistance with Medicaid enrollment, linkage to resources, and connection to community-based mental health and substance use services.
