Network180 is the behavioral health community organization responsible for the delivery of mental health, substance abuse treatment coordination, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We are seeking a Crisis Center Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. This role provides psychiatric evaluations and short-term medication management for patients presenting to the 24-hour Crisis Center, which includes a Brief Intervention Clinic and a Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU), in consultation with a collaborative Psychiatrist. The Crisis Center serves adults 18 years and older, providing assessment and unscheduled clinical services designed to prevent or resolve mental health or substance-related crises. The goal is to provide services to individuals whose crisis will typically resolve within a few hours, but may require up to seventy-two (72) hours of treatment, and where services can be voluntary or involuntary. The CSU aims to divert individuals from jail, emergency departments, and inpatient psychiatric hospital settings to an appropriate least restrictive treatment setting whenever safely and successfully achievable.
