Banner Telehealth provides telehealth services to more than 3,400 providers across primary care and most major medical specialties, including specialists from Banner MD Anderson Cancer Centers and Banner – University institutes like Banner Alzheimer’s Institute. Banner Telehealth focuses on providing cross-continuum teleservices including remote monitoring of patients throughout the Banner system, including individuals in their homes. This position will handle crisis assessments and dispositions for adults, teens and children located in the hospital medical floors and ED. It is computer based as assessments are conducted with patient via a device placed in a patient’s room. Ability to handle crisis, multi-task, work with families and hospital staff is key. Schedule: Looking for assistance on Sundays and Wednesday primarily POSITION SUMMARY This position assesses and coordinates behavioral health care to ensure the most appropriate level of care in accordance with all state and federal regulations as well as company policies and procedures. This position provides crisis assessment and support to patients and family members who are experiencing serious psychological or psychoactive substance abuse disorders. This position communicates effectively with multidisciplinary teams within organization and outside agencies.
