About The Position
The Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office is currently seeking applications for Criminal Investigator, District Attorney (Part-Time).
Requirements
- Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an associate’s degree in criminal justice, criminology or police science or a closely related field and two years of experience in criminal investigations; OR Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and four years of experience in criminal investigations; OR An equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Must possess a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in New York State or otherwise demonstrate their ability to meet the transportation needs of the job.
