About The Position

The Office of Medicaid Fraud and Abuse Control operates within Kentucky's Office of the Attorney General. It is the primary law enforcement agency for the investigation and prosecution of cases of Medicaid fraud perpetrated by medical providers as well as cases of adult abuse and neglect within medical facilities, long term care facilities, and room and board homes. The Office seeks an experienced intelligence analyst who has exceptional analytical, organizational and communication skills to assist detectives and prosecuting attorneys with complex fraud, neglect and abuse cases. Candidates will have the ability to provide assistance to the investigative and prosecutorial team to develop cases for prosecution in state and federal courts. As an Intelligence Analyst within the Office of Medicaid Fraud and Abuse Control, cases will be related to: Medicaid provider fraud (physicians, nurses, behavioral health professionals, etc.) The abuse, neglect and exploitation of vulnerable adults who reside in Medicaid funded facilities or Board and Care homes.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
  • Two years of professional experience in intelligence analysis.
  • Professional experience in criminal intelligence, criminal justice, investigative law enforcement, or a related field of investigation will substitute for the education on a year-for-year basis.
