This role is for a Public Records Researcher who will investigate the criminal backgrounds of client applicants. The position involves working with criminal court case records at the county, state, and federal levels. Comprehensive training is provided by the company, and the work is designed to enhance critical thinking skills. While an interest or academic background in criminal justice is welcome, it is not a requirement. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday on-site position in Warminster, PA, with various shifts available from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Training will be conducted on the 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM shift for 2-4 weeks, and the position pays $16 per hour.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- At minimum a high school diploma or equivalent

- Interest in fields related to criminal justice
- Prior knowledge of the criminal justice system
- Academic background in criminal justice
Responsibilities
- Verify background information on applicants for employment and applicant screening purposes
- Information verified is criminal, civil, and sex offender history
- Complete research via phone, mail, fax, and contacting agents
- Follow up with courts for status of search
- Enter researched information and notes into proprietary software
- Review and analyze source documentation for pre-employment screening purposes
