The Crime Victims Case Manager is responsible for direct service provision to victims of domestic violence. Direct services include individual and group trauma-informed counseling, criminal justice advocacy, information and referrals. Candidates must demonstrate sensitivity to issues related to domestic violence. The Case Manager will make all necessary linkages to community-based organizations and governmental agencies to provide appropriate referrals to address participants’ needs. The NYC Family Justice Centers, operated by the NYC Mayor’s Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based Violence, are multidisciplinary, one-stop service centers that bring together government agencies, legal service providers, community-based organizations, and other partners to provide coordinated, survivor-centered services to individuals experiencing domestic and gender-based violence.
