A valid Maryland Class C Noncommercial driver's license, or an acceptable equivalent out-of-state license, is required. Candidates should have basic knowledge of chemistry, biology, physics, and laboratory analysis methods; be able to perform basic laboratory tests, write basic laboratory reports, maintain records and files, and deal effectively with others in chaotic situations.
