About The Position
The Crib Attendant is responsible for managing the inventory of tools and equipment. This includes receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking tools and equipment, as well as performing inventory checks and maintaining records. The role also involves inspecting equipment for defects, marking items for identification, and potentially preparing purchase orders. The position requires the ability to work with various systems and handle physical demands associated with the role.
Requirements
- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Computer literate.
- Proficient in Microsoft, Pansopic, AS400.
Responsibilities
- Receives, stores, and issues tools and equipment to workers.
- Maintains a record of tools and equipment issued and returned, either manually or by a computer.
- Locates lost or misplaced tools or equipment.
- Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment.
- Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment.
- Requisitions stock to replenish inventory.
- Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear, visually or by using a microcomputer.
- Reports damage or wear to supervisors.
- Marks and identifies tools and equipment using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool.
- Prepares & issues purchase order in MRO buyers absence.
- Performs other essential functions as assigned.
