About The Position

AMC Crew members help create a welcoming, memorable guest experience at AMC theatres. The role rotates across guest service, food preparation and sales, ticket checking, register operation, cleaning, and theatre monitoring. Crew members are cross-trained to build skills and support the team. The position requires a friendly, professional demeanor, attention to safety and cleanliness, and flexibility for evening, weekend, and occasional holiday work. AMC provides required training and certifications.

Requirements

• Must be at least 14 years of age.
• No prior experience is necessary.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Willing to complete required training and certifications provided by AMC.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in movies and creating a positive guest experience.
• Able to frequently stand, walk, lift, twist, and bend, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry it up to 90 feet, or deposit it into a dumpster or trash compactor.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and respond to guest concerns through active listening and clear communication.
• Use AMC’s POS system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Use suggestive selling, upselling, and merchandising to enhance the guest experience and encourage loyalty card sign-ups.
• Prepare food items safely and efficiently.
• Keep theatres, lobbies, and restrooms clean and welcoming.
• Follow instructions for the safe use of chemicals and cleaning materials.
• Check tickets and direct guests to their auditoriums.
• Enforce the movie rating system respectfully and clearly.
• Monitor auditoriums for picture and sound quality, lighting, audience behavior, and potential piracy.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Support fellow crew members as needed.
• Help create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and respected.
• Follow AMC Wardrobe 101 Standards, including required clothing and footwear.
• Maintain a professional and positive demeanor and follow Company Policies and Procedures.
