This role is responsible for supervising crew manpower on a daily basis, ensuring daily operations from a crew staffing and crew tracking perspective meet all required performance criteria. The supervisor will oversee Crew Schedulers, Crew Leads, Daily Planners, and the Crew Scheduling Trainer. This position also assists with hiring, participates in training programs, and helps develop and revise training documentation. A key aspect of the role is ensuring scheduling compliance with FARs and labor agreements, and interfacing with System Operations Control. The supervisor will also conduct performance evaluations, corrective actions, and participate in department personnel audits. They will prepare and conduct Crew Scheduling Staffing/Operations calls, adjust schedules, issue junior assignments, and approve trades. After-hours and on-call support is required, along with travel for base visits and crewmember appreciation. The role involves developing employee appreciation programs, attending supervisor meetings, and providing support for FLiCA functions and new systems/software testing and training. Interaction with Crew Payroll and performing other assigned duties are also part of the responsibilities.
